National Service Scheme unit of our college started functioning two years ago with a special camp as part of its programme to sensitize volunteers to the needs of the community. By awakening the students’ sense of social commitment it has added a new dimension to campus life. It has now two units. Each member of NSS is awarded a certificate by Calcutta University on satisfactory completion of the course.
